My compositions
| |
Version française
My compositions in major part are influenced by the Pop music, Progressive, Rock, Jazz-Rock, Fusion, Electro from 1970 at our days; and to a lesser extent by Jazz, New-Wave, New-Age, Ambient and Classical. As an example (and not comparison), you can listen to some titles in connection with this musical style in the page "Fichiers MIDI" of the "Misc" heading. I tell my musical way in the page "Memories" of this "Intro" heading (symbolised with
).

To be able to listen to my compositions encoded in MP3, you must have QuickTime plug-in installed in your navigator (Internet Explorer®, Netscape Navigator®...). If you do not have it or if you want to download an update, clic on the label "
Get QuickTime" here on the right.
You can however listen to my compositions in « Streaming » with your multimedia player installed by default in your computer.
WARNING ! I tested the functionality only with Windows Media Player 9, Winamp 2, Real Player (6 for Mac or 10 for Windows) and Apple iTunes 4. These readers work fine. However, the last version of these multimedia players is highly advised in order to have the functionality of reading Playlist integrated in this one.

INTERVIEW OF JENFI
Article not issued to date .
After having made its weapons in various groups of rock'n'roll and of musical research, Jenfi is directed towards the « Standalone in the Studio » (fait tout tout seul à la maison) at the beginning of the years 1990.
This choice the constrained one to want to overcome the drums, the guitar, the violins, VCFs and the trumpet of elephant. These musical investigations carried out it in sound regions that only could understand to him. Its work will not direct it to make sound illustrations (sound designer composer) for advertising jungles or filmtrack with large budget.
In 2000, Jenfi gives up little by little the samples sounds to make acoustic instruments to rediscover and to use synthetic tessitures. « Those, says it, allow me to recreate atmospheres and rhythms without the constraint of the play which imposes the acoustic instrument which is however difficult to reproduce ». These topics of predilections are atmospheric themes frays with instruments rock'n'roll in binary rhythms or into metric odd.
New musical and sound explorations of Jenfi are influenced by all the musics listened from its childhood to those of today. All these musics forged these melody and rhythmic tastes. These musics, sometimes very divergent, were mixed in a symbiosis which their initiators would not have wished or do not hope. These links make it possible to create new musics to which will be sensitive for us or not. These links, you will find them below:
